About Quinn Wildlife Sanctuary
Who we are, why we exist, and where we’re headed.
Roots of the Sanctuary
Inspired by Wildlife, Driven by Care
Quinn Wildlife Sanctuary was created with one mission: to heal, protect, and return Alabama's native wildlife to their natural habitats while inspiring people to safeguard the ecosystems we all share.
Quinn Wildlife Sanctuary will begin with a focus on raptors, the hawks, owls, and eagles that define Alabama's skies. What started as a dream to give injured wildlife a second chance has grown into a mission of rescue, education, and conservation. Though our public doors are not yet open, our work is already underway, guided by expertise provided by the Auburn Raptor Center and the Alabama Wildlife Center.
Our Mission
Rescue. Rehabilitate. Release. Educate.
Our mission is simple but powerful:
Provide expert medical care and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife.
Create safe, species-appropriate enclosures for recovery.
Release healthy animals back into their natural habitats.
Educate communities about conservation, coexistence, and the role of native species.
Our Vision
A future where people and wildlife thrive together
Our vision is a rehabilitation center and sanctuary that grows alongside the needs of our community and ecosystems. After raptors, our first expansion will bring specialized care for songbirds and shorebirds, followed by dedicated facilities for mammals, and later reptiles. At every stage, our work will remain rooted in the care of native species, ensuring that rehabilitation supports the balance of our local ecosystems.
